Swim Strong

Water safety/skill building for children with special needs

This eight week program introduces special needs children to fundamental water skills, basic stroke development, and educates participants and their parents on ways to stay safe in and around the water.

This program is facilitated by an American Red Cross water safety instructor with 12 years experience teaching swim programs to students with emotional disabilities, autism, and children who learn, move, behave, and communicate differently.

Caregivers and parents are welcomed to stay on the pool deck and participate.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Abilis Community Foundation, we are able to offer Introductory Swim Strong 1 FREE OF CHARGE.
