You have a Digital Membership Card

A digital membership card available within your app that allows you to check in using your mobile phone. If you require assistance obtaining your membership card number, please stop by the Member Service Desk.

To access:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the [-] icon located on the top right hand of your screen
  3. Tap “Add Barcode”
    1. You can enter your barcode manually or scan via your phone camera

You can book and cancel a reservation

Facility usage currently requires reservations which are made seamlessly through our app!

To Book a class/lane reservation/wellness room slot:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the middle icon labeled “Gym” on the bottom menu
  3. Tap “View All Classes”
    1. Select the class/lane reservation/wellness room slot of your choice
    2. Tap “Book Class” icon on the bottom menu

To Cancel a class/lane reservation/wellness room slot:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the middle icon labeled “Gym” on the bottom menu
  3. Tap “View All Classes”
    1. Select the class/lane reservation/wellness room slot of your choice
    2. Tap the “Booked” icon tab
    3. Select the class/lane reservation/wellness room that you wish to cancel
    4. Tap the “Cancel Booking” icon on the bottom menu

You can participate in YMCA of Greenwich Staff designed Training Plans

Participate in our YMCA of Greenwich Staff designed Training Plans! Participating will gain you activity points.

To start a Training Plan:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the left icon labeled “Workouts” on the bottom menu
  3. Tap the Training Plan of your choice
  4. Tap “Start”
    1. Track your workout as you go!

 

You can participate in Fitness Challenges

Participate in a time-bound challenge! Challenges can be based on workouts logged, calories burned, distance traveled or number of check-ins.

To participate in a Challenge:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the middle icon labeled “Gym” on the bottom menu
  3. Scroll down to the “Join Challenge” section
    1. Select the challenge of your choice

You have an Activity Feed

Members can view other members’ workouts, applaud or give praise to other members, giving you a platform to get to know each other.

To view your Activity Feed:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the middle icon labeled “Gym” on the bottom menu
  3. Scroll down to the “Feed” section
    1. Select an update of your choice and cheer everyone on!

You have Workout Tracking

You can easily track all of your workout data and log any king of workout you do.

Along with quick start workouts at home or in the gym, you have access to:

  • Rich exercise library with 1,400+ workouts
  • Visually guided workout structure
  • Follow a workout/challenge from the YMCA of Greenwich
  • Track progress with instance workout summary
  • xCapture collects time, distance & calorie information from a photo of any cardio screen
  • Manual entry of workout data in and out of the club
  • Wearable device connections that automatically send data to the YMCA of Greenwich app

To view track your workout or create a plan:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the left icon labeled “Workouts” on the bottom menu
  3. Scroll down to the “Latest Activity” section
  4. Tap “View Workouts”
    1. Select the “Workouts” tab located on the top of the page
    2. Create and/or track your workouts

 

You can provide Mobile Feedback

Automatically provide feedback after attending a class, working out, or as a general preference.

To leave General Feedback:

  1. Open the YMCA of Greenwich App
  2. Tap the icon with your initials/photo on the top left corner
  3. Scroll down and tap the “Give Feedback” icon
    1. Rate your experience at the Y and provide us with the valuable feedback for us to provide continued improvements to better your experience!
