STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Constance Newton, Fitness Instructor

Constance Newton began practicing yoga more than 15 years ago in New York City while pursuing a career in communications. What began as a personal strength and healing tool became a way of life, a passion, and a desire to heal others through the many benefits of yoga. Constance switched career paths and began her yoga teacher training at Kripalu in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT CONSTANCE’S CLASSES:
Constance believes that the key to obtaining the various benefits of yoga starts by stepping on to the yoga mat and having fun and this mantra shines through in her teaching approach. This class is perfect for those who are interested in yoga and have the desire to learn.

COME BY AND EXPERIENCE ONE OF CONSTANCE’S CLASSES

Gentle Yoga & Meditation, Tuesday, 7-8pm
Approximately 20 minutes of slow, mindful, movements that nurture the body. Use of props is encouraged! All body types, injuries, and conditions welcome! Once the body is relaxed from the day, class continues to help you quiet your mind with the meditation portion! A brief discussion at the end of class!

Vinyasa Yoga, Saturday, 10:30-11:45 am
Get energized while you build strength and flexibility. This upbeat, creative yoga practice, seamlessly linking breath and movement, will keep you present as you learn to move gracefully in and out of poses.
